I have been toying with the idea of making some mobile games/applications. I frequently listen to the Indie Game Development Podcast. On several episodes they discuss using Corona SDK for iOS development. I must say this is a sweet SDK. Corona uses the Lua scripting language to eliminate the stress and headache of using Objective C. I had never used Lua before but it was very easy to pick up. In just a short amount of time (30 minutes) I was able to modify one of the samples to make a simple pop the bubble game. If you are at all interested in iOS or android development go download it today, you will be very pleased.

Currently you can download the SDK for free and do your development. When you are ready to deploy to the AppStore you purchase your license from Corona.
